Obviously, not everyone can do a 24-hour kitten channel, but do you have any advice for someone brainstorming what do with a channel of their own? But occasionally our software would freeze as well. Which is probably more related to our internet service provider than the computer.
I think our longest stream was about 108 hours before our connection dropped. We bought a brand new computer just to run the stream, and it does okay. Hardware-wise, if that system hadn’t been given to me, I don’t think I would have ever tried to do it this way! Beyond that, you’re really going to push whatever computer you’re using to the limit. We had a really makeshift setup, I got a security cam system (four wifi cameras that hook to an NVR box). What are some lessons you learned doing Cute Avalanche? How hard is it doing a 24-hour channel from a technical perspective?
